AppOlogies is an incubator, app store and mobile developer directory.

We support, fund, design, develop, test, publish and market smart phone applications. We are partnered with hundreds of top development agencies from all over the world and work with entrepreneurs, business and brands - everywhere.

We offer a range of services including consultancy (mobile strategy), application funding and project management. We are currently active in 35 countries around the world and expanding.

The name AppOlogies was chosen to reflect the science or other branch of knowledge, namely the study of mobile application.

Executive Team

Neil

Neil Morecraft, CEO & Founder

Neil has been actively involved in Information & Communication Technology for some 20 years and is an expert in the field Unified Communication Technologies. Starting his professional career with Alcatel-Lucent in 1992, Neil has since contributed to a number of technology related ventures, being recognised by PwC in 2002 for leading a company with extraordinary potential. Neil founded AppOlogies in June 2010.

Neil has worked directly with clients such as Cedel Bank, The Ritz Hotel, DST International, Flybe and Gazprom to name but a few. He is a well-rounded entrepreneur boasting an enviable track record of success.

John

John Benfold FCA, Finance Director

John has a wealth of experience in investment banking, public practice and commercial real estate development. Over the years his work has taken him to London, New York and more recently Budapest, Hungary.

During his time in public practice John worked with a number of start-up ventures and has first hand experience in strategic planning, fund raising and the financial control issues presented by such businesses, whether raising and negotiating large scale project finance or smaller scale SME facilities.

Dave

Dave de Fijter, Technical Director

Dave is a multi-disciplinary technical director, an excellent designer and a problem solver.

Passionate about combining design, technology and human factors to create state of the art products that impact daily life. Dave is a fanatical software developer and all round technology enthusiast. Specializing in web and application development and primarily focused on Python, Django, HTML and JavaScript, Dave also develops engaging applications using PHP, iOS and Android.

Melody

Melody Stevens, UX Director

Melody specializes in designing visually engaging web sites and web/mobile applications. With a strong focus on branding and user experience Melody is well versed with different Search Engine Optimization techniques, metrics and analysis.

Melody holds a first class honours degree in education, with a specialism in Science.

Shahar Namer, Board Advisor

Shahar is the co-founder of Sushi Venture Partners.

He is a business entrepreneur who has acquired vast international experience during the last 10 years, working and advising in the Israeli-European start-ups industry.
